Has anyone done their NVQ 2356 with XS Training??? Any reviews/opinions on what they are like???

Hello everyone i saw that xs training still have spaces for the nvq 2356 is this legit? because im very interested in doing the course.

Yes, XS Training are still offering the NVQ 2356 for about £550 and it is all legit and above board.

Other companies such as QuickStep are still able to get you enrolled on this NVQ 2356 as well and XS Training are not the only ones still offering this NVQ. Get on it while you can as it will save you a few quid as you do not have to complete the AM2.

Yea I'm currently paying 125 a month with XS Training , but I've yet to complete a unit as the job I was working on when I started fell through & I'm currently working for an Air Con firm even though I'm installing. Tray & Basket and installing and connecting up the Air Con units I don't think I can use any if it towards the NVQ as its not an electrical firm , but hopefully you get a long enough time to complete it

Hi John25,

Think you will find that you CAN use this evidence as you are carrying out electrical installation work. It is all about the work you are carrying out not the company you are working for. You should have a word with your assessor and use the work you are doing as evidence for your NVQ.

By the way, last certification date will be end of December 2015 so plenty of time

Oh wow wish I had known that as I have put up loads of 150/300 Basket & 50mm tray on the Job the last few weeks nearly all of it high level with 4 Riser runs & a basket run mounted on Cantilever arms ,I did mention to my assessor (Jamie) that I was wiring up the Air Con units as I was originally on the Job as a plumbers mate installing 20mm PVC pipe/Conduit from the units, but the next day the Boss had me wiring up the Units & control panels as I told him i was a Spark by trade ,But Jamie never said I could use any of the Work I was doing for my NVQ ,although I never mentioned to him at the time, I was installing Containment as I didn't know I was gonna be installing any as the floor I started on already had the Tray & Basket in .but I have at least a week left on the Job so i'll start taking Pics of my work i'll also assume I can use the pop ups & PECO (Wind up) lifts for evidence of use of different access equipment.

Also glad to know I still have a bit of time to get it done as Elec mates/improver jobs seem to be popping up a bit more these days.

just completed NVQ 2356 with xs training, they were very helpful and answered any questions i had.
The course took me a year to complete but i didn't need to take days off to go to collage and it is possible to finish the course quicker depending on how much work you put in.
I would recommend this course to anyone thinking about doing an NVQ

I would hugely recommend XS training over all other competitors as the service you receive is truly first class, every learner is a priority no matter what time or day they are there to help and advice.
The help I received was priceless, If ever I was in doubt my assessor Thomas Harvey was always available to clear my mind and if for some reason he was off David was always available.
I'm very thankful for the support I've received from the XS Training Ltd team and no other words could express how good my experience has been.
I'll forever be eternally grateful to XS Training.

Many Thanks

Hi, I just completed my Electrical installations nvq3 with XS Training. It took me about one year, but the finishing time is up to the amount of work you can put in (I don't think it's more than 60 hour work).
I can recommend them to everyone, as they response to any inquiry you make in no time, plus they're dealing professionally with all the learners and individually everyone is assisted and assessed. "VALUE FOR MONEY INDEED"

Hmmm, can I smell canned meat products?

Far from being "canned meat products" I think you will find that the feedback given by people on this forum is genuine feedback from real people who have actually undertaken the NVQ with XS Training and have successfully achieved the qualification. When people successfully complete the NVQ with XS Training we ask them if they would like to provide us with some feedback on their experience. We provide them with a link to this forum and also a link to our FaceBook page. Many people simply reply to our email with their feedback and we put this feedback on our website. They are not under any obligation to provide any feedback whatsoever and we do NOT pay for feedback that is given. So, far from being "canned meat products" the feedback is genuine and from real people who have successfully completed the NVQ with XS Training and are simply using this forum as a platform to give their opinion of their experience, good or bad.

If you need the NVQ then please contact us and you may also find yourself providing feedback on your experience with XS Training

Hi:
I am about to get on with XS training do complete my NVQ , they do have two option, and the option tow is mainly base on series of remote site assessment and portafolio build by the assessor.
Has any body got it done with this option can tell how many remote site assessment are required and how long more or less do they each one take?

Hi Gardel,

The remote assessments are live observations via video-conference and by choosing the assessor built route (option two) the NVQ 2356 can typically be completed with about five or six observations with each observation lasting about an hour and half or so. You will need to have a phone signal on the site that you are working for the observation to take place successfully. The observation is planned with your assessor beforehand and feedback is given after each observation.

There is a video testimonial from someone who completed his NVQ using this method at the following link https://youtu.be/Qu6VZAhP5nM .

Please contact us if you have any more questions about this
