Hi all,

I'm an apprentice electrican and work for a company, but i want to set up on my own aswell to do jobs on the weekend and evenings, im competent and run jobs for the company i work for.

Iv just recived my EAL level 3 Diploma in Electrtechnical services, and i was wondering if this was enough to get registered with one of the governing bodies such as NICEIC, NAPIT etc? To do the jobs and sign them off.

If it is enough to get registered with one of the governing bodies, which one is the best?

Cheers

Jimi

The scam providers are NOT governing bodies, though one or two of them would like to think they are!!

All you need to register with a scam provider is the 17th certificate, so even as an apprentice your over qualified!! lol!!!

have you the capability of writing ......................have you the capability to hand over money. If you can answer yes to both these things then your qualified to join a scheme.

The 17th helps, but you can still join certain organizations and be allowed a year to get it
