Can someone please advise me on the best way to terminate cables that are screeded into a floor ? A socket's being removed as part of a wall removal and the cables are screeded into the floor so can't simply be pulled back. Any advice greatfully accepted.

Try to find the two legs ,that fed the socket before it entered the screeded floor and replace the link between .....one may surgest crimping them and closing in a box but not advisable as if ever a fault apears in the box your back to square one .. Hope this helps...

As above, can you link the two sockets you have dissed with some conduit and wire it through the screed?

Probably a a better option, didn't think of that one

Either disconnect the 2 legs concerned and alter the circuit so you have 2 20 amp Radial circuits or use a maintenance free joint and forget all about it.

Don't know if you are serious or not
