I have a salus RT501RF (TX) and the thermostat is Salus RXBC605. The boiler is a baxi duo tec 24 combi erp ( what the label says).
I have reset the boiler, thermo and wireless unit, synced them back up due to the same issue but it did not fix it.

The problem is the boiler is running all the time, i can manually turn the boiler up and down by the boiler controls and if i turn the wireless thermostat off on the boiler the heating turns off. but the wireless device does not seem to be working tho they are paired correct and the wirless shows when the boiler is firing. any advice would be great as its driving us nuts.

the possibility the control is a problem Houston,i have came across that system before
needs changing .https://salus-controls.com/uk/files/Salus-RT501RFTX.pdf read this manual and try and reset it .

Maybe it should be running all the time? Modern gas boilers to gain the latent heat have to modulate, that is turn down the output, there are two methods used, one is monitor return water temperature, the other is a thermostat/hub connected to the boiler ebus.

So boiler can give out say 6 kW to 28 kW and until the demand is less than 6 kW the boiler should not cycle, but just turn output up and down.
