So I have a TP&N DB used in single phase install new db change.

Looking at the single phase kit for £40 is it actually any different to using a small piece of bus bar to link the terminals out?

Might be stupid question but seems like a scam for effectively a metal link ?

Cheers guys

why not keep as a TP@N and split the loads across the 3 phases using single pole breakers?

Argh sorry make myself clearer.
The single phase kit goes over the incoming supply 60947-3 linking it to become one.
So as I asked what's difference between that and busbar insulated of course.

I am using single RCBO for circuit protection

but why convert? you have a TP&N board. no reason to alter it. just fit RCBOs/MCBs to suit your loads. unleesss your supply is only single phase.

I don't like fitting non OEM parts on a brand new install. First time I saw the kit from Schneider I held it up in the air and said to the wholesaler, "you are having a laugh at that price" - anyway after a bit of tooing and frowing, I managed to get it down a little and they knocked a bit extra off the breakers to make me feel a bit better.......
