Hi was wondering about this, am i right in thinking your filling out this on work that you have done ( Installation certificate)

eg changing consumer unit and you notice whilst inspecting that cables are routed in un prescribed zones like 10mm from the bottom of a joist above a ceiling. Is this a N/A because you are verifying your work, and note the defect in the coments on existing installation, or is it a big fat X because it does not comply

your help is appriciated

You are filling this in for your work, you can make comments on the existing installation in the box named as such.

You are filling in an EIC for the work you have carried out, so if one of the boxes does not apply to your work then as you say fill in with N/A and note the defect.
