Or, if you use the K2 mounting system, they do an M8 T-bolt and flange nut so the optimizers can be bolted to the channel in the underside of the rail
 
Installed our first one of these today, I was expecting an ethernet port inside the inverter but unfortunately not. Wired in the cables but the instructions were in black and white so have them mixed around, back on Friday it seems. Why not just have an ethernet port inside the inverter I do not know.

I've done exactly the same thing. Utterly ridiculous to have a colour dependant diagram in a black and white manual.

orange / white in 1
orange in 2
green and white in 3
green in 6


forget the rest of the cores

it used to be a plug in ethernet but seems they gone backwards with the updated model?

I use hammer head nuts and bolts

soon they will be making clip on optimizers
