A friend of mine wired a 10mm 3 core armoured cable to his shed before I got involved and wired it himself already. He wants make it an air bnb with a ring circuit 32a, lighting circuit 6a, induction hob circuit 32a and a underfloor heating circuit 20a. Will the 10mm be enough for the supply and what size breakers would people recommend? For the mcu feeding the shed and the mini board in the shed? Thanks

I think some calculations and design are in order here. Especially if he is renting it out to the public.

He definitely needs to get an electrician in for this.

one of the NVQ tasks must be to calculate a power circuit to a shed or garage so should be a bread and butter cable calc for someone of level3/ it certainly was when we did 2360 back in the day

it must be a nice 'shed' if you are going to be renting it to paying customer s

I've elected to undelete this thread because the reason given by the OP when he deleted it was 'Unhelpful' which I think in this case translates to 'You guys didn't give me the answer so I'm going to simply delete'.

As has been pointed out @jkeeble , if your profile is a true reflection of your skills and capabilities, doing the calculations required for this should not be beyond you. So either you're unsure and would like a second opinion or you can't be bothered. If you're not sure, then do the calculations for the design and hit us up with that along with 'here's what I've worked out' and we'll be more inclined to assist rather than just advice you seek the services of a competent electrician.
