My auto switch (Briidea HGAS-01) has NC and NO terminals on both the shore and gen side of switch. I know what nc and no is symbols for (normally open and closed) . Instructions are very limited. Just shows schematics, but no indication of what the no and NC are for. I would like to have the generator auto start when grid power is lost. Maybe one of these terminals could be used to start gen.

Can you post the instructions (even if they are limited)

This is the schematics which I was discussing above about the no and NC terminals. The terminals are to the right sides of both gen and shore power.

The instructions are not just limited, they are pretty useless!
it says it’s an auto changeover switch but I can’t see any detail about how it achieves this, if there are any delays in changeover outputs from the controller for gen run, alarm etc.

is there a controller on the panel, or a switch to select the power source?
i.e. a 3 position switch shore-off-generator

No, only switch Is a switch to turn delay on or off.
