Hi there,
Ive been wanting to get qualifications for the electrical industry for some time now. I have some time now and am wondering where I can begin. I have looked at various sites to explain it but they seem to confuse me!
I have some electrical knowledge. I have been wiring boats up for over a year now. So mainly DC systems. There have been battery chargers and inverters involved with shore power too so I have some experience with 240v.
I am looking to gain qualifications to complement these skills and perhaps move my knowledge to a broader place to be able to deal with more domestic instillation's too.
I appericiate that this takes time and its not possible to do a 4 week course and be able to install anything anywhere. I do not have the time or inclination to go to college 1 or 2 days a week but am able to study at home and on the practical side can get involved with projects at work.
So I am looking for resources to be able to study at home (internet based) and what courses I need to take to slowly work towards becoming fully qualified at some point in the next 5 or so years.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Rob
