Hi guys,

can you please tell me what this type of switch is called as im looking for a replacement in the screwfix catalogue and cant find one

i think is a 2 way, 4 gang switch (has 2 seperate switches on the front. 4 ports on each switch at the back)

its a stainless steel switch with a white insert.

if anyone would be kind enough to point me in the direction of an alternative, i would reall appreciate it

Try MK, they have online catalogues I think. Maybe something like MK ref K4672BSS

a photo would help. is it a double intermediate, or a 2 gang double pole?

where???

think its a mk k4872 whi

The light switch in the picture is a two gang two way.

The fourth hole next to the common is redundant. Either a two gang two way switch or a two gang intermediate switch would do the job. The former would be the cheapest option however.

Looks more like 2gang, 2 way to me

To be fair to gutterball, the picture wasn't available at the time
That's also why I was clueless and way off the mark

As many have already said it's 2gang 2way MK light switch....looks to me to be a metal clad switch switch though the plaster backbox confuses the issue abit.
