Thanks for replying, where would be best to connect the N from the light would you think? Is the blue wire in the right place? Many thanksVery likely, one of the 'black' wires is a switched live? While the other one is likely to actually be N.
It is a sensor light and not switchedIs it a sensor light and not switched.
there was a switched light there years ago but the last light wasn’t switched and just operated on sensor. ThanksThe brown and earth are almost certainly in the correct place. Was the old light a sensor light or switched.
I think it was the same set up as in the picture the only doubt is the neutral wire of the light as that was detached (in the process of me getting to the junction box)So which terminals was the old light connected to.
