Good luck with your search Rob, have you tried knocking on the doors of local contractors. It is also refreshing to read a post of this type without the quote, "willing to work for free".

Rather than look for work in your immediate area, would it make sense to look slightly further afield so you're not viewed as somebody trying to "nick" customers?

Thanks for info guy's, quite happy to surrounding areas as well as Bristol. Not looking to take work away from anyone, just want to gain needed experience within the domestic area.
