I was told there was nothing wrong with consumer units under the sink, but it doesn't seem very logical or safe!!

ye're stuffed if it's a non-combustible wylex rewireable.

I think I've still got the white vinyl single (with Teeties on) that came with the Black & White album somewhere.

On a serious note have you looked behind kitchen unit back boards, any false panels etc?

We found 3 dist boards behind a plasterboard wall after a while of cable tracing....
