3 computer fans one adapter

Hello, I know nothing about electric wires. This is what I am trying to do. I have 3 desktop fans, each 12V, and they have 2 wires each, a red and a black. I have a pc adapter which is 19.5 V and 3.34 amps. I want to strip the adapter and expose the red and black wires and connect it to the fans so they will spin some how. Please be easy I have no idea about this stuff, will it work and how do I connect this if so?

Please don't do anything apart from go to a shop and buy another adaptor for your fans. Your computer adaptor (step down transformer) is supplying your laptop with a certain amount of power that it needs to operate, if you then power up 3 x fans your computer will not work. Besides, what you are thinking of doing is dangerous, leave it alone and go to the shop.

sorry, I forgot to mention, I have 2 adapters, one for my computer and another old one which I want to create a laptop stand with.

Victor, are you just short on plug sockets? If so just get a new extention lead. Please don't be cutting into cables from your laptop adaptor to power up anything else.
