hi

i am a domestic electrician just not long served my time and i went to look at a job

the guy is wanting 3 phase sockets in for food machine

4 of.

not sure of the power

the guy thinks he knows electrics and wants me to use exisiting taty singles which are in for isolators the now

would it be better if they were all rewired.

each one as a radial..?

i am thinking this is a no go situation as the electrics are a shambles

any advise

If the electrics are a shambles walk away unless he wants to rewire ,3 phase is a differant kettle of fish to single phase, also if he wants 4 then you need to calculate the loading as what been proposed may not be sufficient to handle the loadings , personally i would install one circuit for each machine , reason for this if one circuit goes down you still have 3 others

yes im thinking walk away

its like another electrician has been in done all the good jobs, been payed then never answered his phone again as it is all junk left to do... there are 3 phase board covers missing and wires hanging everywhere

better not putting my name to the disaster!
