They will fit into the boot of any car. Just be careful you have the hinge correctly clicked in place. I near wrecked myself one time when i didn't.

evening Shanky, I've got both...the Youngman 100 good bit of kit for outside work, I'm 14 stone. Gets me up to 1st floor window. You might get it inside a Volvo etc at a push. The other one is awkward s*d and heavy but with a scaff board gives a longish platform to stand on.

Rapparee, your ladders would not be allow on a construction site.

Really? Why not? I work in a factory so am never on sites that much.

Is it because it is class ii or the actual design.

got one of this lyte glassfibre combination ladder, it fits in a seat ibiza with passenger seat folded back as i found out on friday when van would not start, or just a three way ladder/step from one of the sheds, or borrow from someone to do job, then get a good roof rack

Down to construction company, they must take practical steps for safety. A few sites I been on will not allow scaffolds internally, an will insist on scissor platforms only.
still shock risk isnt it?

The scissor lift is isolated by the wheels, construction sites are getting H&S mad with steps etc. When you arrive on site, your own steps will be inspected, and issued with a inspection badge. This will need to be inspected every week and issued with new badge.
