advise on where to start

I am starting a new career as an electrician, I know is going to be difficult and need some direction i have passed all exams up to 2394 initial verification but failed my 2395 periodic, retaking that one again in april next year.
can anybody point me in the right direction on getting experience in the field :rolleyes2:

get an apperenticeship if you can, if not - find an electricians mate job.
