I have posted another thread a while ago about a burglar alarm but unfortunately still don't have it sorted- did leave it for a while so the point is, i have a Honeywell Ag6 Bellbox to an Accenta mini G4 panel but it doesn't seem to stop sounding when i type the code in on the keypad. my wiring (which is right as far as i know) is as follows:

Panel
Bellbox
T TR- (negative tamper return)
B S- (negative sounder trigger)
D V+ (positive voltage)
A V- (negative voltage)
Strobe- ST- (negative strobe trigger)

A reply would be helpful as i am starting to run out of ideas of why it wont work. Cheers

Check continuity from bell box on wires (T&A) at G4 panel. If ok, when you link out T & A at panel and close all back up will it reset?

also, i have 6 pir's so is there an easier way for terminating the positive and negative voltage in the panel as they only just fit into the one terminal and i wouldn't be satisfied with leaving it like that

Twist them together, cut to length and terminate together like you have, that is fine. You could run a fly lead to a connector strip if you'd rather.

think it would be better, it is just that they wont fit in unless i cut them short and then when i do that, they pop out easily, can i use abit of alarm cable, considering the current for all 6 pir's?

don't think current will be an issue for such a short length however twisting and putting them together is how it is designed to be. Twist them tight, clean cut and they go in real nice :).

personally,m i dont like the type of terminal as some times, with it being bent metal, when i have pulled cable out, it feels like it is going to pull the metal out, also, could you explain top me what you are showing in the photograph as i cant make much out

Have you got unused zones linked out. What does the keypad show? Tamper fault?

if so it might be the spring in the keypad, they are notoriously bad for not de-tampering when new and usually need a little 'stretch'. Just a thought.

i have unused zone linked out, have the bellbox unwired and am testing each zone and am adding it in one by one, one zone light stays light another sometimes flashes, is this with being the one that causes an alarm and another that just senses movement when the system is unset?

If you have reset back to factory settings what code are you entering.....if zones start flashing on entering a code, then it sounds like you are enter 9999, engineer code
