would be nice to get a brand where terminal block screws actually tighten!

Would be nicer if they used dual terminal lever push fit connections instead of poor quality screw terminals. I don't have anything against screw terminals as such, but the ones in most cheap downlights are of awful quality and minuscule size.

Aurora i9, £25 from light up uk. 7 year warranty and come pre wired so just have to connect plug when second fixing.

Ansell Titan led units, fantastic fittings, push-fit connections, 800lumens, £30 a piece but worth every penny, very bright and good spread of light too!

Ahuh. I was on about general GU10 fittings though as I took the original post to be about them. Possibly a bit narrow minded of me.

As do the new jcc , and about time as well making down lighters installer friendly after many years of cheap 2.5amp connectors with an enclosure small enough to give bacteria chlosterphobia
