Whilst Im on the doorstep or retirement, I'm still interested in the world of electrical engineering so I hope you dont mind me joining.
1975 saw me coming out of my time with British Steel Corporation as a full fledge sparky, over the next few years I found myself working on 432Kv and then in the opposite direction to Microprocessor control (I did City & Guilds Electronic Technicians Cert).
I currently fly drones inspecting Wind Turbines and few discussions with engineers rekindled my interest in Electrical work after 40 years+
Looking forward to having a read!

ElectriciansForums.net (formerly known as ElectriciansForums.co.uk) was setup in April 2006 to provide free electrical advice to both professional and DIY electricians. Whether seeking advice for auto electrics, trying to find electrical installation condition reports (EICR) form downloads, or whether you're here just to talk to other electricians; we've been a first-choice website for tens of thousands of sparkies for well over a decade.
