Discuss Loss of dual rate after board change in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Did you tamper with the seal or loose power to the meter in any way .. this been a smart meter they may have noted a power down with no network faults and reset the meter ... need to discuss with power provider if you haven't tampered in anyway its possible a tariff arranged contract has expired or change of supplier without them been notified it was duel tariff.

Well....logically one of two things has happened:
1) You've messed up and whatever used to be on the E7 side is now on the 24/7 side
- or -
2) Coincidentally, the meter has packed up (this assumes that the meter has been read and hasn't 'moved' in between readings).

Shall we open a sweepstake on the answer?

You maybe correct Rockingit - i thought their was a essence of smart monitoring with these too just not the full kit but enough to log data and send?

Nah! Some of them have a bluetooth type thingy in them so the meter man can get a reading from the doorstep, but that's about it! Smart meters have sim cards in them and about a million security seals.

I had something similar once, it was all caused by the client changing providers and the new provider not doing something correctly. Hope this helps

Looked at the picture, old manual time clock get it out, if E7 still required get an integral meter fitted, time clock all built in meter, I would say 90% of my work is taken E7 out.

1) No E7 side - just cheap rate overnight

2) The E7 metering has not shown an increase since the last reading which was coincidentally just after the DB change

Have you lost supply to the timeswitch motor? If you say it reads nill then sounds like its not clicking over! What did your work there involve?

Yes, also they need a tariff wire (flag wire) between meter and time clock, those old t/clocks do give up the ghost, is the time clock keeping time?
