Can anyone tell me if you still require main earth bond to the incoming mains water. All the pipework and central heating is plastic (except 1m of copper from combi on water and central heating). The boiler is about 5m away from incomming mains. Also the mains is a minimum of 5m of plastic MDPE to stop cock?
If this is required where do you clamp as it is all plastic except for a small bit under boiler.?

If the majority of the pipe work is plastic there is no need to bond , the bond to services water etc is to protect the installation from outside the property hence the reason why its bonded at the point of entry so as its plastic no need for a bond
