i am looking for some help with a decision i need to make.

i am having a new kitchen installed but can decide between having 2 3.6kw 16amp ovens (integrated) or just 1 as not sure the 6mm cable will be able to support then both.
Also would they be ok if both are on the same isolator think its the current one is a 45amp cooker switch.

Who is installing the kitchen? they should know or at least the electrician does, I mean I do too, but before any answers are given, one question, are you intending to do the Electrical work in the Kitchen?

I am currently still in the design phase and just wanted to know before work is carried out it will be by a qualified electrician but just want to make sure before hand. So I have all the information and can factor in the amount of work that will need to be done

best to let the electrician work it out then, cable length, how it is run etc can be a factor, 6mm2 run normally in a house and allowing for diversity will easily handle 6 .4 KW, but thats not always the case, so let the electrician check it out to make sure

What I find frustrating really is most kitchens these days are at least 15-20k yet spending a few hundred on the electrical side is always avoided lol, never understood this.
