Evening all, got quite a few periodics to carry out on domestic properties, fully familiar with the old codes 1-4 but bit unsure bout the newer ones. I mean with regards to the most common faults like :

borrowed neutral (lighting
open circuit ( ring final circuit)
no rcd protection throughout
no main earth or cpc to a circuit
cracked accesory (not exposed to get a shock off)
main bonds 6mm instead of 10mm
no main bond at all
overated mcb/fuse for cable size

according to the latest ammendment code 4 items (in old money) arent recorded anymore

So any help would be greatly apprecieted as always................................

As far as I see it, it hasent changed all that much. except 3 has become F/I and 4 is now 3. the faults and danger still warent the same code but put 3 instead of 4.
