DONKEY

Hi guys. Can someone tell me if it is possible to do r1 + rn and r1 + r2 socket tests with the standard lead which comes with the megger 1552. This is the lead with the 13a plug on the end. I have read that this can be done but I would love to know if this is true because it would save me buying a socket adaptor.

Thanks..Jon

Hi

Unfortunately the MFT1552 mains test lead can only be used for R1+R2, not the R1+Rn test
However Megger have a socket interface lead with three 4mm plugs at one end with a 13 amp plug at the other. This will allow tests on a cross connected ring main.

Regards

Megger TSG
