Can anyone recommend a thermal image camera I have looked at the fluke TI9 and TI10 also the Flir I40 has anyone used these cameras or can give advice. Many Thanks!
Anyone looking at new (higher end) Thermal Imaging Camera's should really have a look at the new Flir e-range launched on the 1st March this year. This range replaces the i/b 40,50, 60 and will basically leave them (and any other camera's on the current market) in the dirt. New features include a touch screen, built-in Wifi with connectivity to iPhone and iPad, improved resolution, backlit buttons etc..
Like mentioned above these camera's are very expensive. You can also have a look at the lower range which start from under £900.00 + VAT (i3 and i5).
Following link has all the different and new thermal camera's: Thermal Imagers - Thermal Cameras Infrared - FLIR - IRISYS - Flir Imaging Camera - Thermal Imaging Cameras
I have a used I5 if anybody is interested by Flir. It is in very good condition, owned for about a year and used pretty infrequently for electronic circuit design from when I was doing sub contract electronic design work.
Unfortunately do not have the box anymore, but have the user manual/512mb SD card/micro usb to usb connector, wrist strap, charger and case etc.
Origionally purchased for around £1600, but will accept £1k including delivery.
