Thanks Jamie

(Forgot to mention when I say as a reservist I mean the REME)

Re: Army? Looking for a new challenge!

43, so that's buggered up my dream of becoming the next rambo. :smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:

Not really a big fan of Saturday soldiers, but if you think it may further your career or offer you as a person something that you won't get elsewhere, go for it.

My pal joined soon after leaving the army. He left after a few months as he saw it as a bit of a joke.

My only experience is with a few of the lads from a yeomanry unit that turned up a month before my regiment rolled out of Al Faw. Top blokes, but effing useless. Didn't know the difference between a breech and a muzzle.

No chance as dog handlers, then....

They would Rather pay part time soldiers than regular as its cheaper 1 regular= 3 part time resrvists

Good old Tory's cutting everything, Labour for spending everything along with the bankers
Just when its looking like we need a larger regular Army and extra special forces to deal with all the threats that are arising elsewhere in the world
But the economy is recovering or so they would have you believe. I wonder who the people are that are the ones that benefit from the so called recovery
