Sharp declines to comment on solar scale back: pv-magazine looks like ploughcroft won't be the only big companies to suffer in the Fit cut debacle. Of course barking used Sharp as a counter argument to killing off the pv sector with Fit cuts so it can't possibly be true!

As part of that, Sharp would shut module assembly plants, one in the U.S. and one in Britain, the sources said.

it's part of a restructuring programme they've had to promise to lenders in order to get another £2 billion worth of financing for the company in general according to this article.

Does anyone have a list of companies that have gone under since the fit was changed to put the industry on a firm footing. I'd like to send it my useless MP Steven Barclay and see what he has to say about it.
