Discuss side cutters in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

I would say Knipex but have had CK, Knipex, Facom and stanley fatmax lately and all seem to loose there sharpness very quickly . Not what they used to be

Knipex for me, but make sure you carry out safe isolation before cutting cables.

i have a set of them, mine are wiha though.

the best wire strippers you will ever buy.

the bahco ones look alright but at £28+ a go at build it id rather buy wiha or knipex

Buy the cheapest that will do the job and it doesn't matter too much if they get "Spark Eroded" or get lost or stray.

I still have a pair I bought at Woolworths around 1960 for 2/6d tight wad

HE was a "F" ing good Rock 'n' Roller.

British born but brought up in USA so most folks thought he was a Yank.

He was a big star in France & parts thereabouts.

I worked with him over here but he was a total mess by that time & the whole deal was a bit of an embarrassment which was sad because in his day he was bloody good!
