Unless your rainman there is no way you can remember every reg no and explanation, all you are ever going to need is how to pick the brb up and find the section that you require,be it cable calcs, max zs etc etc,its a reference to which there are many fulfillments, you could buy 20 associated books from the iee all to do with bs7671,dont be panicking it will all come to light in the future, just learn first how the regs are laid out,why and what they represent, and then it will click.

Just remembered that if you need any books you could try amazon, many john whitfield books, which lay it out in a more simple way.good luck

to be honest mate, most of the regs is common sense, mixed in withn technical information. as above, there is no way to simplify it, but there are numerous books, which offer guidance on how to interpret some of the more ambiguous regs.

think the osg is the only simplied version although most reg numbers not covered, the electricians unite do smaller pocket books which are more portable and easier to reference and cover all the reg numbers also. As stated though you cant remember every reg thats why we have the brb so just learn how to navigate through it and thats all you need.
