Hi There,

Can anyone recommend any solar or battery powered PIR security/flooodlights?

I need to illuminate the end of my garden which is pitch black in the evenings and not very safe. I would rather not have to dig a 35m trench to lay cable. I have searched the net with no luck as of yet!

Any links or advice would be appreciated, thank you.

You might want to think through solar/battery powered security lighs. assuming one 500 watt lamp, this would need more than 40 amps from a battery supplying a 230 volt inverter. This battery would need a fairly substantial solar array to provide sufficient power to run a 600 watt inverter.

You need to determine your total demand and from that the watt hours that your lamp will actually work. If you can give me a better idea of your requirements I can help you with the estimate
