You should be used to a bit of cat living in China lol..........or is it dog they eat?

Good old dog Kebabs remember them well....best Kebabs ive every had.....miss working in Maylaisia
Good old Tigar beer aswell...lol

Read up on "skin effect" of HF cables. Come back and tell me what you find :wink5:

I use 10mm TriRated.

Very interesting Tony, so basically because tri rated has an increased outer surface of each core thus a larger surface area the losses are much less than a solid core cable of the same csa

I wouldn't be too sure that your not eating cat in the Indian restaurants you use in the UK!! LOL!! It's dog they eat in Asia, not cat!!

Let's face it, all your really tasting is the hot spices they use, not the actual meat and/or veggies in the dish!! lol!!

The chinese are the ones that eat cat.
They use the same word for cat as they do for rabbit, means small furry animal apparently.
All those of you who think you are born in the year of the cat are actually born in the year of the small furry animal.

Never seen cat on the menu anywhere i've been to over here, dog and other unmentionables, yes!! lol!!

Joking aside over in industrial province next Feb visiting our manufactures and always have a great time...reallly good culture

Now THAT would explain why I have never seen a cat wandering about anywhere near Ocean Road in South Shields. :shocked3:

I was once informed ,in a high street store, that optical cables can be influenced by magnetic fields from speakers and inteference from thermostats and Kettles. More Twaddle..........

The hi-fi industry is full of twaddle. Expensive twaddle though. What about directional cable then? Tell me anyone can tell if the cable is connected the other way round! Daz

Some folk acually beleive this twaddle
So Can someone please explain in VERY technical language why this is so ???
Dont hold back. we are all agog, just waiting for the explanation...

Here you go, make of this what you will.

Having worked around VERY large and mega expensive concert systems all my life, only one thing I know for sure: It doesn't matter how much money you spend, how many hours you spend tweaking this that and the other, how thick or thin your cable is or whether it's gold or platinum and has oxygen or not...... plug an iPod into it and that shoddy cr4p of a format they call MP3 will destroy it in around 128,000th of a second.

On a more practical note, if it's a fixed install then there's nothing wrong with T&E in the slightest. Good way to get rid of any old Red and Black still kicking around. Touring setups normally use 4 or 6mm fine stranded in either 4c or 8c multi's.

Had some very hot curries where you could actually taste the main ingredient in what you were eating

A mate of mine does a very very hot very tasty lobster curry and the flavour of the lobster really comes through the spice

Having said that some regions of China have some very spicy dishes

Seeing as all the hotter spices were the main means in by-gone times to hide the fact that the meat bad or was going off, i find that hard to believe!! On a blind test, i doubt very much if you would be able to even tell what meat you were actually eating!!

As i said i don't eat hot spicy food, i've tried it in the past and all i could taste was the hot spices, which is OK if you like sort of thing. Also tried was was a very light green paste/mustard that the Koreans, Japanese and Chinese use with fish, ...dam that stuff was hot!! ....Spoiled the rest of the evenings meal as i couldn't taste anything after, that except that paste/mustard, it literary killed the taste buds for hours ...lol!!!

You need more practice!
Hot chilli is good for you, gives one an enormous sense of well being.
And you can actually taste the difference between them.

Persevere with the cause...you know it makes sense! :-)
