Wanted to give everyone here a big thanks for giving me a spot to bounce ideas and exposure to different methods. I've just finished the first year of my Apprenticeship and I'm having a blast. Totally aced TAFE (College), 95%+ on all my subjects!
Had my annual review last week, and the boss is really happy with my progress. I'm feeling like I've really helped his impression of adult apprentices; he says my standard is way above what he would expect of a 1st year straight out of school, which means he can send me to more difficult jobs with confidence that I'll work through it. Now we're looking to expand the company's scope this year, getting into some more specialist sidelines like Thermal Imaging, and he wants to leverage my technical background to help.
Enough bragging, thanks again to everyone. Some members won't see this as they're not in the Trainee Section, but I thought this was the appropriate place. Here's to 2015!
