The Morning After...

Ok so it is saturday morning, we have all been out for the night come home drunk and are nursing hangovers before we do it all again tonight!

So my questions are these:

1. What did you do lastnight that made you think "fuuuuuu-" this morning?
2. What is your hangover cure?




I would have liked to put this in the Electrician's Arms, but the bouncer wont let me in! (Dan hasn't PM'd me back and I am not technically a spark....yet)

best hangover prevention is to drink real ale, not the girly chemical lager muck that is sold as beer these days.

obvoiously, ken, you have better water down there than we do up here. ours is foul, tastes worse than canned bitter. chlorine and god knows what else in it.

A cold glass of coca-cola (other colas are available) and a fryup with a cup of tea.
Then maybe an extra hours sleep.

nah, mate. the cause etc. is money, or the lack of it. if you got money, booze ain't a problem. unless you name's george best (GRHS). anyway, on the odd occasion when i imbibe too freely , the hangover self cures while i'm still unconscious.

Ice cold Irn bru and 2 or 3 rolls with Lorne sausage..........................I always find a good bowel movement helps but that may be me

In my younger "cant handle the drink" days
The best hangover cure was going to work wiring an house

Once the effort of picking the boards up and drilling those beams was done,the hangover had leaked out

Its a fond memory drilling a hole when you have the hangover and collapsing your head on to the floor after each hole

You're joking mate, I don't even fill the kettle up with what comes out of the tap. By the time that its cold enough and stops being cloudy, its an extra fiver on the bill.

A good cure is doing a full days work like today. Two of us did a c/u change,up graded tails, new bonding in pvc conduit out side the house back to the kitchen, tested, installed an intruder alarm and a security light! Didn't take long for this mornings hangover to disappear, boss cracking the whip all day. Just starting on tomorrows hangover now :21:

If you saw the state of the borehole pumps, that your water comes from, and the pipes that it travels through, you would never touch a drop again. I do, but im not the sharpest tool in the box! lol
