Very annoyed to get back to my van tonight after a good session on the climbing wall to find that someone has taken a fancy to my passenger window....not impressed at all.....thought the police might come and have a look atleast but no apparently they will ring me within 48 hours to discuss my issue.......

think yourself lucky. i knew a bloke who woke up and found someone had taken a fancy to his back door!

get crime number, ring insurers, get window fixed, replace what toerags took

In cases like this insist on a crime number and do not be put off unless a crime number is issued there is no crime and it keeps the reported crime stats down. This seems to be a common thing and may be policy with all police forces nowadays they try to avoid giving crime numbers I know a few people who have had to insist to get a crime number

agree with ung get a crime number,we had loads of trouble in our street with the church police were being called out all the time but when we went to council police said they have had no crime numbers logged therefore no record of incidents.
