today is the 2391 results day for june 10

hi guys just wanted to know if anybody has had there results in yet iam pappin it sittin waiting for the postie is driving me nuts good luck everybody

My nerves were fraying waiting for 2391 result with 6 year old son bouncing off the walls with excess energy. So I went to local library to check emails and read random periodicals. My postie never comes before 11 anyway.
By the way I'm trying to decide on purchasing a multitester: the fluke 1563 is the bees knees, and I've found one with test-meter.co.uk for £575 + vat. Would anyone like to comment? i.e. suggest an alternative instrument or supplier?

Bobby, call your training provider-if you check other posts on this forum, you'll see that results have been available to most training providers on the City & Guilds Walled Garden from 02/08/10-give em some stick!

I am still waiting postie not been yet, I to have been going nuts hope its today just to put me out my misery one way or the other. My tutor at college told me we get the results first, but looking on here loads have already found out of there training provider

dont do that its worth more to me than the studying non stop for over 4 months every day all day and night plus the 2 months tomorrow of waiting for the results, thinking oh god if ive failed i will av to do it all over again I used to have black hair now its white lol not to mention the cost if i have to do it again the mrs will kill me

yeah mate me to just want to find out one way or the other its two months today a joke i keep grabbing a book to read but its always on my head have i havent i if its a fail then like you i can get my head stuck in the books and book a resit

I still haven't had anything through the post. I only know I passed because the training centre rang me.

It's just not on that you're still waiting, it takes about a minute and a half to log onto the City & Guilds Walled Garden and read off the results!

If you're not getting past the admin of your provider, have a word with your tutor and see if he can pull a few strings.

Mine is not a centre it is a college and when I went in to try and get the results I was told I would have to wait for them come in the post as they had over a 1000 to sort out funny that there were only about 30 at the most in the room

Ive contacted my tutor but he must be on his hols as he hasnt replied usually he replies straight away almost I have not rang just contacted him direct by email if it doesnt come tomorrow i will try ringing but i dont think the college is open not sure though there was only 9 on the course and a extra guy who was doing a resit

my postie parks his bike on my front then proceeds to go and deliver about 4 other streets before coming back to us. C&g want to hire more examinors to mark the papers do they only have one guy for all the country

They probably have an Examinations Secretary who deals with all exams. Whlist there may have been thirty people sitting 2391-301 no doubt your College runs many other courses.

c&g quote 42 days but thats when the colleges are up and running and they still cant acheive that time scale.
looks like you did the course to coincide with national holidays so you could be in for a wait.
sorry i couldnt be more positive but i remember waiting considerably more than the 42 days during term time

Going to wait till october now at least I will have a better understanding of what to expect next time and have some late nights with GN3...

I'm not sure whether you identified any weak points when you sat the written exam or not, but obviously if you did then these would be worth looking at. However, look at other things too as there is no guarantee of the same question coming up next time!

Hi crags sorry to here that mate keep your chin up matey all you can do is revise and try again unlucky mate. I have still not heard so i am deffo getting worried and will probably also be doing a resit in october? I really hope not though as its already taken 4 months of studying and 2 months of waiting to find out. ive had nothing yet no letter or phone call from college getting worried and could do without the stress of waiting for the postie with good or bad news 10weeks is taking the you no what especially if it ends up i have not passed
did you do 2391 with a college or private training provider i suppose no news is good news but i didnt expect to wait this long i thought everyone got them at the same time

I took 2391 at the local college. The tutor told us big envelope good news, little envelope bad news. So you can imagine my face looking at a little envelope.

I wonder if there is problem with the certificates printing error may be.

same here mate dont like the idea of doing again i studied from end january beginning of feb every day all day long so about four or 5 months solid and took a 8 week evening course started in march at bury college which is about half hour drive from leigh only college near me that do it they told us about 8 week its now over 10 week i wish they would pull there fingers out
