My alarm panel is going into alarm when entering the premises

hi i have a Honeywell Galaxy 2-20-V15 version 1.5 security system and was working fine but the engineers code was lost so as i needed to add more circuits,i defaulted the panel back to factory settings and now have an enginers code . I have reprogrammed the panel and included new circuits and everything appeared to be fine, but the problem is the system is setting fine but on unsetting it immediatly goes into alarm
This is curcuit 1001 programmed ,final and timed each way 30 seconds/entry and exit
I cannot find anything in the programming to explain the problem but the log indicates code - ENT T/0 can any one advise please ?

I’m not familiar with the panel but it seems to be that the entry is programmed to 0 time hence the alarm straight away.

Most alarms that i have seen just have an entry exit time and not have separate ones.

Do you get a beeping when you set the alarm for exit.

yes the alarm is programmed 30 seconds entry and 30 seconds exit yes it does beep and sets fine

Is there a detector on another zone / circuit that also is covering the exit route?
Maybe try eliminating each detector 1 at a time then trying the final exit each time.

Are you saying that on entry it beeps giving entry delay but goes off when putting the code in to unset ?

Or does it set off the alarm as soon as you enter the entry zone ?

no other zone/circuit covering exit route. it just goes off immediately when entering entry zone

Try changing the entry timer to its maximum.

ENT T/O, is Entry Timeout,, suggesting whatever you've set for Entry delay is not being used.

Can you change it to another zone or link the exit entry out and see if it still activates

Tried that too I've got two of these things unless it's 2 faulty panels I'm really puzzled

Make sure the zone is set to entry exit,you might have it set to Immediate,on some panels it might be only 1 zone can be entry exit,also you may be walking though another immediate zone without it set to walkthough

You could link out all the zones apart from the one your using for exit entry that would eliminate the others.
Also is your exit entry a pir or contact ?
Is it programmed correctly for the type ? no resistor etc ?

hi thanks for your time i have programed all zones out only zone 1001 is programed as final with 30 seconds entry and exit its a pir detector but also tried a door contact also tried another circuit system is resister based with 2x 1k resisters sets and unset fine all was well before engineers code was lost so reset to factory set conditions and reprogramed the same as before .all points to entry time but its timed 30 seconds system will set and unset with this circuit 1001 programed out and other 5 circuits reinstated

hi yes i agree its a final pir circuit with 30 seconds entry and exit programmed in no other detectors on route to rkp tried a different circuit with a door contact but does the same system was setting and unsetting fine till extra circuits required but no engineers code so reset to factory set conditions and reprogramed carn t find any programing faults for not unsetting without going into alarm unless resetting it has damaged it some way thanks for your time
