You're thinking of the older ELCB that measured the voltage on the earth. This one clearly states its current operated. i.e. an RCD.
next minute ,some people will say it does not comply !

Marcus meridian gladiator, what size is the tails to the c/u?

question 1 , the next test date 2024,why is it being done

Lost paperwork........

question 2 , DNO, fuse rated at 80amps
question 3, why do you think the DNO needs to change the fuse!

I don’t think it needs changing, though might have had my head in a dark place at the start of this post. It was kind of peculiar. I have this software that properly shouted at me, full audio whilst my head was shoved in the cupboard, when I typed in the 63amp/80amp. Bizarre, and unexpected. I banged my head!
So I thought I’d post it - out of interest....

The difference being???
The difference put simply is an an ELCB is a voltage sensing device and an RCD is a current sensing device. ELCBs were discontinued many years ago. RCDs are better devices. Besides all that, a new CCU should have been recommended anyway.

They are not necessarily the same thing. Older types of ELCBs were voltage operated. However, my mistake on this one; it does state current operated.

You are confusing an Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker with a Fault Voltage Operated Device. An RCD operates in the same manner as an ELCB just different terminology.
