Hi there all,
Im new to this forum, after browsing some of the threads, have found some very informative information on here.
I used to work with a sparky about 2 years ago and completed my 2382-10 (I Think!) but never got round to becoming part P as work stopped (something about a recession). Ive been doing general building work since and still helped a few sparkys when I can the work. Anyway, im in the process of completing my 2 jobs in order to apply for NIC domestic route.
One of the jobs is a barn conversion im doing, which will be ideal as ive done everything from start to finish, so know exactly whats what. The other is adding 2 extra sockets to an existing ring. Its a pretty new installation, and at the MET have located 2 bonding cables entering, ive located one end at the gas meter, the problem is the other one I ASSUME runs to the mains water pipe, which the builders have conveniently boxed in and put kitchen units in the way. I wanted some advice on where I go from here? I need to confirm the water pipe is bonded and was wondering if there was anyway other than massacring units!
Another quick question, this ones a lot more simplier, on the NIC certificates, in the design construction test box, there is 2 small blank boxes, just wondering what im meant to write in there?
Many thanks,
Rob
