Sounds very likely, there are a number of possible alternatives for wiring three phase equipment but this maybe considered a basic standard for a socket.
Remember that brown, black and grey are the phase colours so do not need further identification, if you have those coloured cores.
If they are white numbered cores then they would need identification and sleeving is better than tape.
 
You can get 4 pin and 5 pin 3 phase sockets/plugs.

Also you don't need to put brown tape on the other 2 phases as these are the phase colours anyway.

It would be different if you were using a 3 core in say 2 way lighting on single phase supply. Then the cores would need brown sleeving.
