Morning all

I'm looking into buying a few PDAs to dish out to our guys for testing. We use Amtech and I understand that by them filling out digital certs on site, its simply a quick upload and print back in the office which is going to save me huge amounts of time chasing m,issing information and incomplete certs. We are on a tight budget and the Amtech fast test function will primarily be the function. Is anyone esle operating a similar way? I would also consider the mobile phone route too if that saves on the outlay for a device. My Orange plan might let me share the minutes?? oh, and apparently the OS needs to be Windows Mobile 6.0/ 6.1 or 6.5...pref 6.5 so they are not outdated too soon.

I dont think that laptops are a good idea for us, as they could easily get damaged and I'm led to believe the additional licenses required for Amtech are a fortune.

Thanks

Hi, there good luck to you best thing to go with cert software you can overcome data loosing problem by making back up
Don't always reply on pc or laptop

Ok the reason I asked is that I used it a while ago we didn't find it that easy to use. Now use Easycert from iPads very easy once you work it out. The export and import from site to office is first class and not that expensive for multi user accounts.

next time around on the licence i might change things, but i like the database that's kept etc. just trying to make the workflow and processes a bit more efficient
