cant see the need for them personally

i cant realy other than possible improvement in safety compared to using a stanley knife, just thought someone with experience using one might be able to shine some light on it

I use knipex's smaller version, I only use it to do the latudinal cut on the outer sheath then take the stanley to it to cut along the compleat length, then use the stripper to cut the inner sheath so I don't get score marks on the conductors, the amount of times you see it where people have been a little over enthusiastic with the stanley knife and gone through the conductors sheath, it only takes a bit of pulling back and forth to open up the score down to bare conductor
