I have just moved into new house and I am wondering whether I can run some appliances of a Boost Protected Extension? It's the type of extension cable that's used with computers to protect them if there is a power surge. As a temporary fix until I can fit some permanent sockets can I use one of these extensions to run a Freezer, Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer all off the same single socket or am I just setting myself up for trouble?

freezer and 1 of the others, not both. the lead is fused at 13A. your washer and tumble dryer are each approx 8-9A so both togther will overload it.
