Having just changed a consumer unit, I obviously will be issuing a certificate and schedule of inspections. I understand when you tick the box 'identifcation of conductors' this includes sleeving the switchlines. Is it my responsibility to sleeve all unmarked cables even though I have only changed the consumer unit. I am assuming it is, I was just hoping it wasn't! Apologies if this is a really silly question!

Strictly speaking, it's not your 'responsibility'.
You enter 'consumer unit change only' in the Details of the Installation section.
You note any minor deviations from BS7671:2008 in the Details of Departures from BS7671 box.

When you tick the box Identification of conductors, your schedule of inspections refers to the installation that you carry out, as described on the certificate
If the existing installation needs identification of conductors then you could note the deficiency on your Eic
