Sure this question has been asked many times. Point me to previous post if need be. What coding do you use on pre 17th edition socket outlets that would now be installed with rcd protection. However currently not protected.

Also code 2 for any bonding on cable tray and ligh diffusers this is another grey area..
 
If they were installed and complied with a previous edition, I would apply a code 4.
For socket-outlets that are used for mobile equipment outdoors, a code 2, irrespective of whether they complied at the time of installation.
