Just looking to see if anyone’s had a similar job or has any other ideas. Got a consumer unit to upgrade, the current one is fitted inside an enclosure that houses the meter head. It’s on old Mem DB, the cables are wired in conduits which are all terminated onto the the inside of the enclosure. I’ve only got a 300mm gap so don’t see me being able to fit a new DB inside the enclosure, my plan was to fit a joint box inside enclosure and join through the circuits and fit a bit of wood on top of this and mount the new DB onto this, anyone else got any other suggestions? I can’t see any other real way without causing major disruption to the wall
