Hi, my T&Cs were developed a few years ago and run to three double sided A4 sheets! I'm beginning to think some customers are being scared off by these (they were done by a solicitor after all:uhoh2:). Would anyone be willing to share their own which are perhaps a bit lighter, but still effective? Obviously, I'm more than happy to return the favour. PM me if that would be preferred. Thanks all. PS I've never had to use them in anger (though I have been ripped off in the past by an "asset poor" builder!

We have different terms and conditions depending on the type of client and contract. If you're doing mostly domestic installation then I can't help thinking that multiple pages of small print would be both a waste of time and possibly intimidating. For larger tenders and contracts there's often industry recognised pre-prepared T&C's that are neutral and designed to protect the interests of both parties. For small jobs we highlight our main terms on the quote and also refer to our full T&C's which are available on request as well as on our various websites.

Thanks Marvo - yes, should have mentioned that it's domestic customers who take fright! I've tried whittling them down (the T&C's not domestic customers), then think "I can't take that out!". Hence I'm keen to see what other slimline T&Cs are out there. Can't see the wood for the trees at the mo.
