Due to a damaged underground SWA that would normally feed a sub main, I may have to place a genset temporarily to run a small kids funfair area at a park (so I assume lots of star>delta motors and variable speed controllers)
I’ve three options for sizing this:
1. Add it all up and work with maximum;
2. Apply some form of diversity or
3. Assume that the existing CPD rating will suffice as an indicator and work with that value.
The tricky bit of course is that a generator behaves slightly differently to a DNO supply.
