Jesus what a mess. You need to get a competent electrician involved, completely reinstall/replace and get the correct Certification.
Thanks, but from a fundamental legal position, would it have been possible to provide a final completion certificate and ‘handover’ with this? Would it be builds control notifiable (if not registered with any orgs)? He’s saying that I’ve lost the paperwork - but I was never given it and this is what I’ve been left with!
 
From you other thread has this individual rewired your house.
Yes, I’m trying to address each of these issues to him as separate items. There are more! But I’ve kept it to those that are harder for me to understand whether it’s compliant and so I can take a more legal position, as well as the obvious poor worksmanship.
 
Needs ripping out and a new board with SPD and RCBO's......and by the look of that you need your house testing...and HE needs his head testing
 
He obviously worked very hard to get that amount of bare CPC in the trunking under the CU.

I wonder what's on the other end of the two bare phase cables above the RCD? love the choc blocks.
